The Danish magazine, The Journalist, asked three people within the photojournalism business which picture could represent the year 2009. I was among the three, they asked and decided to make a provocative answer: The most scary picture of 2009 is the use of stock pictures for news stories. This is an increasing trend due to the fast flow of news stories - especially on the web. The media undermine their own trust by using non journalistic pictures for journalistic issues. My example of this trend can be seen in the e-paper of The Journalist.
